What’s Your opinion and reason platforms don’t exist that focus on a particular industry? eg…stone, Metals, cloth, plastic, etc . Direct seller and buyer.
Would this type of new more specific platforms be more effective for a b2b market? A manufacturer or a distributor for example might find it easier to just go to their respective specialty site to list a surplus for sale, where the buyer for that particular industry will be found—
rather than go to a general site that deals in all items.
It seems like this might be a good startup? This just crossed my mind while I was looking for an item and couldn’t find a particular specialty platform.
