While we’re on the topic of custom analytics, it would be best to mention that Grow BI also provides hundreds of pre-built reports for its users. This means that aside from being able to customize the data you include into your dashboard, you can also customize the reports you get on your dashboard via one of the many reporting templates provided by the app.

Some of the examples provided by Grow BI on their website includes reports on the total value of open deals, deal breakdowns by status, employee retention for the month and for the quarter, among others. Disadvantages of Grow BI

There are a couple of things that you will need to take note of with Grow BI. Note that these are fairly minor details, and most users generally gloss over them, focusing on the general pros of the app.

Not All Integrations Work Seamlessly

This is perhaps something that the Grow BI team is consistently working on. Some of the integrations don’t work seamlessly. Whereas most of the data is pulled automatically, some avenues need to be refreshed manually in order to ensure that the data available is the newest.

One such example of this disadvantage is the app’s integration with Slack. There have been isolated user reports that Grow BI doesn’t automatically pull data from Slack DBs, which can be frustrating for some individuals.

The UI Could Stand Some Tweaking

While the UI of Grow BI is intuitive enough for a good majority of its users, there are some glaring issues that some might find troublesome. These include some issues with the font size and color. A few users have commented that the font size and color could use a little bit of adjustment to make it easier on the eyes.

But that’s mostly a cosmetic issue. The second UI issue involves a usability issue that, while not incredibly important, could improve the whole user experience as a whole. Some users have stated that there are no sparklines when you hover over some points in data graphs. The addition of these sparklines can make it easier to interpret graphical data.

On the whole, Grow BI seems to be able to provide users with what they promise. This is a pretty good solution for the consolidation of business intelligence, and can be very instrumental in getting your entire management team on one page.
